Down the valley
Voices cut through air
Chanting in unison
Cheeks strained with tears
With bloodstained machetes
In a flash,
The dark days came
Shivered spines
Buried bullets
Silent cries
Moments of helplessness
Barbaric tortures
Horrifying dark cells
High prison walls
Soon to be buried
The toiling in tears
Were not at all futile
Uhuru! Uhuru! Uhuru!
Now at their doorstep

A strong believer in the power of time||I thirst for knowledge and insight, knowledge more than that of Aristotle||Quite an open minded dreamer
